What is Plus+?

Plus+ is a free service for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad games. It connects you with your friends and an entire community of gamers. With Plus+ you can share your gaming stories across Twitter and Facebook, issue challenges to your friends, and compare your gaming skills with the world. Plus+ is also constantly evolving, so keep coming back to learn about new features.

How do I get Plus+?

Just download a Plus+ enabled game, create an account, and you’re all set! The walkthrough video on the Get Plus+ page will help you get started.

Do I need to remain connected to the Internet to use Plus+?

Plus+ only requires an Internet connection when you first register for the service. Afterwards, players are free to play offline without issue. Scores and awards earned offline will appear on the Plus+ leaderboards as soon as you reconnect to the Internet.

Does Plus+ collect my personal information?

The only personal information Plus+ requires is an email address to verify and activate your account. Plus+ does not sell your email address. And we do not store the email address of underage users.

How do I find or invite friends?

Finding and inviting friends is easy. From within Plus+, click on the friends tab (it's the middle button on the bottom of your screen). In the upper right you’ll see a + button that will open the "add friends" pane. You can start off by searching for friends' names or gamernames from the search box. To add them as friends, open up their profiles and click "add friend."

Or invite your friends directly from your contact list. Open the address book by touching the book icon in the friends search field. Highlight the contacts you’d like to add in Plus+, and then touch the magnifying glass in the upper right. It will find your friends’ gamernames, or, if they aren’t already in Plus+, allow you to send an invite.

What's the difference between friends and followers?

Followers are people who have added you, while friends are added by you. To move a follower to your friends list, just add that person as a friend, making the friendship mutual. Mutual friends can see each other’s real name, status, and photo avatar.

How do I get my score on a leaderboard?

As long as you're logged into Plus+, your score will show up on our leaderboards - even if you're not online. Plus+ logs your scores and will upload them to the global servers as soon as you connect to a wireless connection.

How do I link my Twitter and Facebook accounts to Plus+?

Each game is different. Most will prompt you to enter your login credentials upon completing a level or achieving a new high score. You can also login from a game’s options menu.

What's a direct challenge?

Just beat a level in record time? Challenge your friends to beat your score with a direct challenge sent via Apple Push Notification. It'll pop up on their device just like an SMS alert. When they accept, the challenge will not only launch the game, but also load your score, winning conditions, and even a ghost challenger.

Can I turn off push notifications?

Yes. From your device's Settings menu, tap "notifications." You can turn push notifications on or off, or enable and disable them for specific games.

Why can't I log into Plus?

Plus+ requires a data network. If you're not connected, you can't login.

How do I reset my password?

Launch Plus+ from within a game. At the login prompt click "Forgot?" to send a reset password to the email address associated with your Plus+ account.

How do I log out of Plus?

Open your Plus+ profile. You'll find a logout button at the bottom of your screen (Note that some games, such as Touch Pets and We Rule, require a connection to Plus+ and do not have the option to logout).

Why won't Plus+ accept my desired gamername?

If Plus+ won't accept your desired gamername, it may already be registered by another Plus+ member or it contains inappropriate language.

Will Plus+ sell my email address?

No. Plus+ does not sell email addresses to third parties. We use your email address to notify you of new apps and promotions that we think you’ll like. You can opt-out of these newsletters when joining. You can also unsubscribe from our emails at any time after that.

Does Plus+ collect information from underage users?

An email address is only required in order for the account to be verified. Plus+ does not store that information from players under the age of 14 after registration. (We cannot contact underage users or access the information)

How do I change my Plus+ gamername?

Plus+ does not allow players to change their gamername. Please keep this in mind while choosing your gamername to ensure it is spelled properly and capitalized the way you prefer.

How do I delete my account?

Plus+ accounts cannot be self-removed at this time. Plus+ does not sell information to third parties. All Plus+ related email communication can be stopped by unsubscribing from our newsletter.

If you would like to delete your account, please email support@plusplus.com with a request for deletion. In order for us to verify account ownership, please send the email using the same account you registered with and include your Plus+ gamername.

How do I enter a different age bucket?

Upon sign up, Plus+ asks players to assign themselves to an age bucket. If you graduate from an age bracket, have a legal guardian send a copy of your birth certificate or government issued identification to Plus+ so we can verify your age. Contact support@plusplus.com for more information.

Does Plus+ allow other players to see my personal information?

Not if you don’t want them to. There are two relationships you can have with other players in Plus+. Followers can see your gamername, the games you own, your global gamer picture, and your awards and high scores. Friends (which require mutual following) can see your name, personal gamer picture, and your status message.

What is the leveling system on the Plus+ home screen and what does it mean?

As you unlock Awards in our Plus+ titles, you gain Plus+ Points. Points are used to to determine your level. Plus+ levels are used to determine your gamer title. It's welcoming for new and casual gamers, while rewarding for dedicated and veteran Plus+ gamers.
